Mrs. I. Vecchione's Famous Women's Project Directions
Literature classes will begin our Famous Women's project.
You will be given a username and password to access my Wiki page.
You will create a new page for your famous woman and begin writing your research paper!

INFORMATION TO BE RESEARCHED:
1. Personal history
2. Reason for being famous
3. Any historical events that affected her life
Submit at least 6 large index cards to Mrs. V. BEFORE writing the paper.
NO paragraphs on the cards; only bullets w/ information. FORMAT: BE CREATIVE!!!
Paragraph 1: Introduction (at least 3 sentences)
Paragraph 2: Personal history
Paragraph 3: SPOTLIGHT an event in her life (OR reason for being famous) that you find interesting, unique, devastating or incomprehensible and DISCUSS.
Paragraph 4: Conclusion (at least 3 sentences RESTATING the introduction)
You must use 5 vocabulary words (Highlighted)
A PICTURE must be included on your page and any additional effects that you might want to highlight.
A Works Cited/Consulted section must be included. See Mrs. V. w/ questions! A Timeline must be created for your presentation to the class.
You must visit ONE other person's page and ask a question posted on the DISCUSSION TAB. ONLY 2 Questions for each famous woman!
A copy of your work EACH WEEK must be printed and submitted to Mrs. V. for review!
